→ In the first part of my career, I was a commercial Director of Photography. I shot 100s of spots: (Bayer, BMW, Burger King, Carlsberg, Chevy Trucks, Chicago Tourism, Craftsman, Disney, ESPN, EA Games, Fox, Hyundai, McDonalds, Mercedes, Nestlé, Saab, San Miguel Beer, Toyota, Verizon)

→ Then, as a Creative Director at Corbis and X1Content @ Getty Images, I managed creative photo & video partnerships, and creative directed shoots and collections.

→ Now, as a Strategic Brand Identity and Product Communications Leader in EVs, sustainability, design, and tech, I create stories about the clean future of electric mobility.

I bring the eye of a visual artist and the discipline of a creative strategist.

→ I create strategy and write stories for automotive brand marketing, launches & events, PR, investors, ESG, technology and SDV comms, sustainability comms, and employee brand education.

→ I collaborate with automotive designers and engineers, lead cross-functional teams, write with C-suite, direct creative agencies, and engage with tech and automotive press.

→ Starting as a cinematographer, I know visuals are first. They capture attention, intrigue, and make emotional connections, opening the door for words and ideas to be welcomed in.

What always matters most: emotional and value-driven storytelling, grounded in brand identity and made credible by data and testimonial.

Here’s what I Do out in the world.

→ I love living in the city: creative people, restaurants, bars, arts, improv comedy. I prefer it loud, messy, and crowded. I like good movies, riding my bike in beautiful places, having coffee with friends, and occasionally buying a really nice shirt.

→ I have a film & arts background, and I came up through the traditional union camera crew ranks – Local 600 since 1995. I love working with my hands: my workshop is probably better than your workshop.

→ I use the SoCal outdoors every single weekend.  

→ I'm one of the founders of The Fireflies Cycling Club. fireflieswest.com ( 11x SF → LA, 2x Geneva → Cannes ). We have fun, go fast, and raise money for City of Hope leukemia research.
