I love living in the city: creative people, restaurants, arts, improv comedy. Mostly what I'm interested in these days is good movies, riding my bike in beautiful places, art that inspires me, and (occasionally) buying a really nice shirt. I love my family. I also love to sit with friends for coffee and a talk.

I have a film & arts background, and I came up through the traditional union camera crew ranks. I have always loved working with my hands.

I use the SoCal outdoors every single weekend.  I'm one of the founders of this cycling club. http://thefireflies.cc ( 8x SF > LA, 1x Geneva > Cannes ). I'm out gravel grinding most weekends and racing cyclocross in season. 

If I could be anywhere:  up at our family cabin on Lac des Îles, north of Montreal, spending days canoeing, swimming and riding, and evenings grilling cedar plank salmon, reading on the screen porch and driving into town if we run low on whiskey.
